In Paonia, Colorado, Megarevo took a different approach. At Solar Energy International (SEI), the company worked directly with 21 U.S. installers during a hands-on training session focused on Hybrid Inverters, residential backup, load prioritization, and practical system design.

One event was a major industry exhibition. The other was a technical training session in a classroom and laboratory.

But both reflected the same part of Megarevo's business philosophy: stay close to the people working with energy storage and keep technical development connected to real project requirements.

Meeting the Market in São Paulo

The smarter E South America 2026 provided Megarevo with three busy days in São Paulo, where conversations covered a wide range of energy storage applications and project requirements.

Brazil is a market where renewable energy has already established a strong position, particularly through the rapid development of solar power. As distributed generation and renewable energy continue to develop, energy storage is becoming increasingly relevant to discussions around energy management, backup power, and the integration of renewable generation.

For Megarevo, being present at the exhibition was therefore about more than displaying equipment.

The booth became a place for conversations.

Customers and partners came with different project backgrounds and different expectations. Some were looking at commercial and industrial applications. Others were interested in system configurations, backup capability, photovoltaic integration, or the potential role of storage in future projects.

Those conversations are valuable because the same energy storage solution does not necessarily fit every project.

Power demand, load characteristics, installation conditions, system configuration, and the intended operating strategy all influence the final design.

This is where face-to-face communication becomes particularly useful. A product catalogue can explain specifications, but a direct conversation can reveal what a customer is actually trying to accomplish.

For Megarevo, the exhibition was an opportunity to listen as much as to present.

The visit to Solar Energy International in Colorado offered a different kind of interaction.

Instead of speaking to a broad audience at an exhibition, Megarevo worked directly with 21 U.S. installers in an intensive training session centered on Hybrid Inverters.

The training combined theory with hands-on equipment testing.

That format was intentional.

Residential energy storage projects often look straightforward from the outside. A homeowner wants solar power, battery storage, and backup during a grid outage. But once an installer begins designing the system, a number of technical questions appear.

What loads need to remain operational?

How much power can the inverter provide?

What does the home's electrical service require?

How should 100A and 200A pass-through considerations be handled?

How should high-power loads be prioritized?

What does “full home backup” actually mean for a particular house?

These are not questions that can be answered by simply reading one line from a datasheet.

They require an understanding of how the inverter, battery, electrical service, distribution equipment, and household loads work together.

That was the focus of the SEI session.

Making Product Specifications Useful in the Field

Megarevo's Hybrid Inverter training placed particular attention on translating specifications into real project design.

This is an important part of the relationship between an inverter manufacturer and an installer.

A datasheet provides the technical boundaries of a product. Installers then have to work within those boundaries while designing a system around a specific home.

For example, a homeowner may describe their requirement as “full home backup.” The installer has to turn that request into something much more precise.

Does the homeowner need every circuit backed up?

Which appliances are essential?

Which loads can be managed?

What happens when multiple high-power appliances operate at the same time?

Does the inverter's output capability match the expected demand?

How does the battery support the required loads during an outage?

Answering these questions requires proper load characterization and prioritization.

This is why Megarevo's training went beyond product specifications. The objective was to give installers practical knowledge that could be applied when they return to their own projects.

Installers see the technology after it leaves the factory.

The questions may differ from those raised by U.S. installers, but the underlying objective is similar: find practical ways to make energy storage systems work for specific applications.

A Broader View of Energy Storage

Megarevo's experience across residential, commercial and industrial, microgrid, and larger energy storage applications has given the company exposure to projects with very different technical requirements.

That experience also reinforces a simple point: energy storage is not one product category with one standard application.

A residential backup system has different priorities from a commercial energy management project.

A commercial system may have different requirements from a microgrid.

A larger energy storage project may involve another set of considerations altogether.

The role of the inverter also changes with the application. In every case, however, system design has to begin with the actual requirements of the project.

At SEI, the company had the opportunity to work alongside U.S. installers and examine Hybrid Inverter applications at a much more detailed level.

The environments were different, but both created opportunities for technical discussion and direct feedback.

That is the kind of interaction Megarevo wants to maintain as the energy storage industry develops.

Continuing to Build Through Collaboration

Megarevo has delivered more than 5 GW of energy storage inverters and has worked with customers across 36 countries and more than 2,000 companies. These numbers represent years of product development and market experience, but they also point to something else: energy storage is built through a network of manufacturers, installers, distributors, integrators, developers, and end users.
